Year 5 spent the morning at Cockermouth School taking part in some magical science activities, it was just like being at Hogwarts! We made slime and decoded a secret message using chromatography, we used data loggers to measure temperature and locate the missing Philosopher's stone and we identified potions by burning the chemical ingredients in Bunsen burners and observing the colours!
A fantastic morning out, we were very proud of our Fairfield pupils as always, outstanding behaviour and enthusiastic participation.
