Samuel Stevenson had a very special evening this week as he and his family visited Penrith to pick up an award. He won the county-wide competition for designing the ID badge for the Mini Police in Cumbria. He was presented with his award, badge and prize by the chief constable. He also got to sit in Mini (the Mini Police Mascot) and he thoroughly enjoyed the event.
The mini police cadets were busy today presenting an assembly about water safety to the rest of the school. Clare Parker (local PCSO) worked with the children to develop their presentation and they delivered the very important message about staying safe in water to all of the other children. I now know what beach flags mean!
Well done cadets! Great work!
