Class 1E became a hospital ward during English this morning! The children all transformed into doctors and performed ‘contraction surgery’ on some words! We operated to remove the second ‘i’from ‘it is’ and replaced the omitted letter with an apostrophe plaster! Our doctors then enjoyed using their new knowledge of apostrophes to write some descriptive sentences about materials!
