Thank you to all our helpers on Friday; without you these days cannot go ahead.
By all accounts the children from Nursery through to Year 6 had a fun and challenging day, exploring their local environment. Children in Nursery and Reception stayed in close proximity and explored our local park, Year 1 and 2 ventured down the river Cocker towards Lorton (Pictured) and Year 3 - 6 headed up the Hay to enjoy the commanding views over Cockermouth. Year 5 and 6 took an extended route to take in part of Slate Fell too.
It was brilliant to see the children working hard on what was a challenging day but, as normal, they all did it with a smile!
