Image of E-letters

Following the half term break we will be reducing the number of printed letters we send home with children. We will be using an add-on to our current parent communication system that will allow us to email letters to parents. This brings a number of benefits:

  • A reduction in printing costs
  • It is better for the environment
  • A reduction in administrative workload
  • Improved communication as the letters can go to the inbox of both parents/guardians

There will of course, be the odd occasion when we will require a written response to a letter so we will send them out on paper as and when required.

As well as being emailed out, letters will be made available on our website for 3 months at:

https://www.fairfieldprimary.co.uk/key-information/letters

In addition, paper copies of any letter will be made available from reception should you require one.

If you have not provided school with a valid email address, or wish to add more to the system, please get in touch with the admin team.

We are testing the system today by emailing out a letter about World Book Day. If you have any issues accessing the letters, please let us know and we can try to assist you. If you don’t receive it, please check your junk mail folders.

As well as all of our other methods of communication (Class Dojo, our school website, the Schudio app and our social media channels), you can now download the EduSpot app to receive news notifications and messages from the school.
