Our Geography topic this half term is ‘Rivers’ and in order to enhance our learning on the topic, we had a workshop delivered by West Cumbria Rivers Trust. We learnt all about the different parts of a river, and the wildlife we might find. During the afternoon, we took full advantage of our school’s fabulous location and headed to the river for some river dipping and ‘nature art.’ We all returned with muddy hands, slightly soggy feet, big smiles and lots of new knowledge of rivers. Well done everyone!
