Image of Year 4: Geography Fieldwork Rivers Walk

Yesterday, Year 4 have completed a rivers walk around Cockermouth. The children talked about why Cockermouth is a confluence town; they discussed erosion and deposition on the rivers' meanders.

The children also discussed the bridges they walked over, their importance and what their uses are.

It was a great way for the children to consolidate their Geography classroom learning.
