10 year five and six children attended the First Lego League Tournament at St Bees Sport and management Centre yesterday after weeks of hard work and preparation. There were They took part in Robot games having put together careful programming to navigate the trickiest game board to date.
They gave a presentation on water pollution both locally and globally and pitched potential solutions that communities could work towards.
Finally, the children were judged on the core values of Lego League including gracious professionalism, team work and 'coopertition'.
The children came together as a team, learned a lot and had a great time doing it! Lego League gives an opportunity to work with new people, find out about technology, engineering and maths and take part in global learning.
We are very proud of the team and they really earned their super gold medals!
