Following our recent trip to the mud-bath they called the Cumbria XC Championships at Sedbergh Prep School, Harry was selected to represent Cumbria at the National Schools XC Championships.
Harry travelled to Prestwold Hall in Leicestershire for the national finals that took place on Saturday. Despite the conditions not being a tough as the Cumbrian champs, Harry reported that it was a tough race. We are very proud of him and he enjoyed the race and experience. He finished 96th out of 260 of the country’s best runners covering the 2200m course in 8mins 24 seconds.
Well Done Harry!!
Year 5 and 6 have the opportunity to take part in a new after school trail running club after Easter.
