Today we introduced ‘Starbooks’! Fairfield Primary School’s new Reading Café- where children and adults are encouraged to ‘Read a latte and espresso themselves’! Today’s Reading Café was for children and their grown-ups in KS1, allowing them to share reading books and activities, whilst enjoying some refreshments. All children across Years 1 and 2 took part in a Reading Café activity and we were delighted that 50 of their adults were able to join us! We hope that today’s Reading Café will help our children to ‘develop a taste for reading’!
