BBC Children in Need is the BBC's UK charity. Since 1980 it has raised over £950 million for disadvantaged children and young people in the UK. It is one of the most well known charitable causes in the UK with one of the most recognisable mascots!
We have been selected by the BBC to receive a visit from Pudsey Bear to help us raise money for this brilliant charity.
Despite the Children in Need day officially being held on Friday 16th November, we will be fundraising on the day Pudsey visits Fairfield - THURSDAY 15th NOVEMBER
In order to raise awareness and funds, we are going to hold a spotty dress up day and we will be completing a coin trail in the shape of a Pudsey bear on the playgroud. We hope pudsey will like it!
If children bring small change with them on the day they will all be given the chance to go and add their coins to the Pudsey shape. Once complete, we will collect up all of the coins for the donation.
We will share lots of images from the day!
