The governing body of Fairfield Primary School attended a special assembly in school this morning. They were here not only to talk to the children about the work of the governing body (using a lovely analogy of a boat sailing for an island), but also to hand out some special awards.
The governors presented awards in a range of categories for sporting, academic and pastoral achievements and the recipients had been selected by the teaching and support staff.
The children had a great time and we would like to thank the governors for the amazing work they do behind the scenes. Well done or all of the award winners and all of the children for their efforts in school this year - you’re the best!
