A huge well done to our amazing Year 4 Hockey Team who have been crowned the County Champions in Carlisle on 10/07/19! After winning the regional finals some months ago, Fairfield Hockey team went into the county finals with an unbeaten record. They progressed through the group stages, winning all games and topping the group. In the final stages they showed amazing resilience to beat very strong competition from Rockcliffe and subsequently went into a head to head with Kirby Stephen Primary. This was a tough match against experienced players - Fairfield were triumphant winning 4-3!
We are incredibly proud of this team who have developed from never playing before to now being county champions!! Well done!!
