Lest we forget...
On Friday, we marked Remembrance Day in school with a very special assembly where the children learnt about the significance of the day and what the poppy represents.
Towards the end of our assembly, at 11am, we stood silent with the nation and observed a two-minute silence to show our respect.
Throughout the morning, each pupil placed their hand-crafted poppy on our wall of remembrance in the hall. The wall remains covered in the colours associated with this poignant day.
Our Nursery children visited the town's Cenotaph to lay their very own, special tribute.
We are so incredibly proud of the respect and understanding demonstrated by our pupils right across the school.
