Active History in Action...
Yesterday afternoon, Year 3 were introduced to their new History topic, the Stone Age. As part of their first lesson, the children hunted for cards in the sand - like archaeologists (linked to their Science learning)- and ordered the dates in chronological order.
Meanwhile, to begin their History topic of The Romans, Year 4 started by learning about the myth of the founding of Rome - Romulus and Remus. As part of the lesson, the children had a go at recreating the myth through drama.
