Today, we have marked the start of Children’s Mental Health Week 2025.

In a special assembly this afternoon, we explored this year’s theme and we all wore scarves linked to the acronym:

Safety
Caring
Achievement
Resilience
Friendship

This year, Children's Mental Health Week is focusing on ‘Know Yourself, Grow Yourself’. We want Children’s Mental Health Week 2025 to encourage children, young people and adults to embrace self-awareness and explore what it means to them. This will help them grow and develop resilience in order to cope with different challenges in life.

Pupils will participate in a range of specific sessions this week linked to this important message.

At Fairfield Primary School, we focus on mental health and well-being every day of the year. Through our extensive and long-established pastoral care, PSHE curriculum and nurturing approach, we help to improve the well-being of all our pupils.
